We make Shoddysocks to be worn, not returned — but if something’s not right, we’ll sort it.

 

Because they’re made from recovered wool, they may feel slightly firm at first and will relax and shape to your foot with wear. A little patience goes a long way.

 

Your right to cancel

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

To do this, you must notify us within those 14 days. You then have a further 14 days to return the items.

 

Return eligibility

• Items must be unworn and unused

• Items must be in their original condition

• Items must be returned within 14 days of notifying us

 

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on socks that have been worn or used, unless they are faulty.

 

How to request a return

Email hello@shoddysocks.com with your order number and reason for return, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

 

Return shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return shipping.

 

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we’ll confirm the outcome.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

If you are returning your entire order, the original standard delivery cost will also be refunded.

 

Faulty items

If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

In line with your statutory rights, we will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund where appropriate.
