Care

Air Wash™

Merino wool naturally resists odour, so it doesn’t need washing as often as many other fibres. Often the best way to refresh your socks is simply to air them between wears. Washing less saves water, energy and helps your socks last longer.

Care

Look after your socks and they’ll last...

  • Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a wool or gentle cycle
  • Use a mild wool detergent
  • Dry flat

Merino wool and cashmere are delicate and can be damaged by other fabrics in the wash, so we recommend turning your socks inside out before washing to protect them

Too much heat and rough washing or spinning can shrink the socks and make them permanently stiff — you could hand them down to a smaller friend, but they won’t feel the same…

Avoid

  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not iron
  • Do not dry clean

Shoddy Wool

These socks are made from shoddy — mechanically recycled wool. Like all wool, and especially shoddy, they can shrink if not cared for properly.

If they do get smaller, try putting them on your foot while still damp — you might be able to gently stretch them back to their original size.
